Who We Are

To share God's love with our neighbors through education opportunities, community connections. and empowering relationships.

What We Do

• GU students would provide one-on-one time with kids in our after school and middle/high school programs, assisting in homework, playing board games, doing crafts or playing sports.
Provide assistance during morning community time for mothers of small children, possibly assisting with English language learning and interactions with children and mothers. (this program is under consideration and not yet started, in part due to the need for volunteers to assist at the program.) We would like to offer moms, many who are new to the country a place to come and gain assistance in anything from learning how to work their dishwasher, to how to fill out forms or access info online. The program may have a short lesson and facilitated sharing or mom/child playtime component. It would provide a time and place for moms to come while older children are in school to spend time together.
Assist in chaperoning field trips for kids in our middle/high school program, to places like ice skating, Corbin Art Center, Manito Park or sporting events.
