Who We Are

Frontier Behavioral Health has a number of ways for you to get involved. We need volunteers to staff our crisis line, First Call for Help. Contact John Dubois (509.710.8781cell). Also we would love for students to support our Care Cars program which provides transportation for seniors to medical appointments. Contact Diane Roberson if interested. 30 hours of training are required to staff the crisis line. Volunteer drivers for Care Cars must be 19 years of age and provide proof of a safe driving record.

What We Do

Since 1970, Spokane Mental Health, a not-for-profit organization previously known as Frontier Behavioral Health, has served children, families, adults and elders throughout Spokane County. Our professional staff provides quality treatment and rehabilitation for those with mental illness and co-occurring disorders. These services include crisis response services; individual, family and group therapy; case management and support; vocational rehabilitation; psychiatric and psychological services; medication management and consumer education. We tailor services to the unique needs and strengths of each person seeking care.
