Youth for Christ: Hillyard & Downtown Spokane

We are an inner-city para-church relational ministry with one youth center located in the Hillyard neighborhood. Our mission is to raise up indigenous leaders in the most impoverished areas of Spokane who will change their communities for Christ. We do this by fostering positive relationships with the kids in these neighborhoods and providing a safe and welcoming environment after school.

Our focus is on two impoverished neighborhoods: Hillyard & Downtown. These are a few of the poorest neighborhoods in the state of Washington. The majority of the young people in these neighborhoods come from poor homes, live life without a father, are plagued by drug and alcohol abuse, experience significant loss, and feel hopeless. Despite the brokenness of their story, these young people are bursting with potential and demonstrate tremendous resiliency. We offer after school programs in Hillyard for students ages 11-19. Those hours are Monday thru Thursday from 2-5:50. We also now offer Basketball and Bible study on Fridays at our new downtown location on West 2nd Ave.
