Who We Are
The Northeast Youth Center is committed to providing low cost recreational and educational opportunities. The program builds life experiences while enhancing the self-esteem in youth from the community as we proudly represent the City of Park’s and Recreation Department since 1971. The Northeast Youth Center serves a diverse population of Spokane’s youth through a variety of low cost activities, before and after school daycare, sports programs, and special events. Overall, the youth center promotes culturally enriching environment to support responsible ways of learning social interaction; and a place to feel respected and accepted; a home away from home!

What We Do
The Northeast Youth Center (NEYC) is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to providing culturally enriching and stimulating educational and recreational activities the build life experiences while also enhancing the self-esteem of youth in our community. NEYC offers programming for children ages 3-17. The youth center has more than 5,000 participants in the variety of activities that we offer.
Recreation Leaders take charge of a designated age group and lead them through daily activities including: crafts, games, social-emotional learning activities, community building exercises. Leaders are also expected to be models for youth in managing emotions.
