This program is exclusive to students enrolled in the Live Learn Grow (English Language Center) and Honors First Year Seminar courses during the Fall 2023 semester.

Community Service Exploring Spokane On-Campus Activity

 

GECOLAB Objectives:

Create an intentional student community and a sense of belonging among the international community.

Help international students & honors students acclimate to life at GU & the city of Spokane.

Empowers students to get involved with on-campus organizations and lead in student organizations.

Contribute positively to new student's wellbeing by working to integrate new international students & honors students more intentionally into Gonzaga’s general student population.

Provide mutual learning opportunities for international and American students to learn from one another.

Opportunity to learn and manage conflict amongst cultural difference.

Validate global languages and language acquisition.

Support new students' development of intercultural competence and career preparedness.

Contribute to GU's mission of diversity and global engagement.
