Help students pick new books from a special book fair at school to keep and build their home libraries. Having books of their own to read over the summer months prevents kids from losing ground in reading and helps the return to school in the fall ready to learn.
As a Page Ahead book fair helper, you will:
- Help students shop for their 12 new FREE books to take home for summer reading
- Assist students with counting their books and putting them in their shopping bag
- Help students put their nameplate stickers in their new books
- Sit and read with students (time permitting)Restock the bookshelves/displays (in between classes coming through)
