The Spokane Humane Society has been chosen by the KXLY Extreme Team for a major remodel. As a shelter that cares for more than 3,500 homeless pets a year this is an amazing opportunity to update our building, which hasn’t seen a major remodel since it was built in 1973.
We are extremely excited about this opportunity and are looking for groups of volunteers who would like to help KXLY and the Spokane Humane Society during this update. We are looking to fill multiple shifts during this project. Each shift has the need for 10 individuals who will be helping to remove debris, build, paint, clean, organize and more.
Currently these are the empty shifts that need to be filled:
February 18th: Demolition Day
9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (contact to arrange shorter shift)
February 22nd
5:00 AM – 12:00 PM
7:00 PM – 10:00 PM
February 23rd
5:00 AM – 12:00 PM
3:00 PM – 7:00 PM
7:00 PM – 10:00 PM
February 24th
5:00 AM – 12:00 PM
7:00 PM – 10:00 PM
