Who We Are

World Pediatric Project is a non-profit organization which connects children in Central America and the Caribbean with surgical care unavailable to them in their home countries. Vision: Every child, regardless of where they live, will have access to quality, critical care in order to live a full and productive life. What We Do

Three main programs: Teams World Pediatric Project mobilizes dozens of pediatric diagnostic and surgery specialist teams each year. Annually, more than 2,000 children receive diagnostic or surgical care in their home countries or regions. US Referrals World Pediatric Project links access to care for children with often highly complex and/or urgent surgical intervention situations to advanced pediatric hospitals in the United States and internationally. Training: World Pediatric Project’s Children of Tomorrow programs focus on strengthening a country’s own capacity to care for the critical needs of their children for the future.
