Who We Are

Project Beauty Share was founded by Executive Director Julie Farley, a former professional makeup artist, who recognized a simple but often overlooked need: access to hygiene and beauty products for women facing hardship. While food and shelter are vital, dignity and self-confidence are also essential to healing and rebuilding. Many women in shelters, recovery programs, and low-income households lack basic personal care items, hindering their daily lives, employment opportunities, and overall well-being. Now in our 15th year, we are grateful to serve over 125 nonprofit agencies throughout Spokane and North Idaho. We serve organizations that support women and families overcoming significant challenges, as well as local school districts, to help students stay in class with confidence. Through strong community partnerships, corporate donations, and dedicated fundraising events, we continue to expand our impact - one product, one person, and one act of kindness at a time.

What We Do

At Project Beauty Share, we believe that self-care is not a luxury - it’s a basic human right. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we collect and distribute personal hygiene, skincare, and beauty products to women and families overcoming abuse, addiction, homelessness, and poverty. We also support public school districts to ensure students have access to essential hygiene items, so they can show up to school with confidence and dignity. In 2024, through partnerships with more than 125 nonprofit organizations, we helped over 70,000 women and their families take a step forward with hope, strength, and self-worth.
