Northeast Youth & Family Services (NEYFS) is a family resource center committed to empowering generations by providing support to children and their families in Northeast Spokane through our community garden on Mision Avenue and the Queen Avenue resource pantry, where we give diapers, clothing, hygiene, and food. There are no barriers of entry.
Are you ready to join us in some fun and rewarding activities? We have plenty of opportunities for everyone to get involved at our two lively sites! Whether you're a plant enthusiast ready to dig into our community garden or someone who loves organizing and bringing a bit of sparkle to our resource pantry, we have something just for you!
At the garden, there's always exciting work to do in the spring, summer, and early fall, from planting and watering to harvesting delicious fruits and veggies. Plus, you'll get to pitch in and help keep our Little Free Pantry stocked with donation cans and join in on some fabulous community events!
Over at the Queen Ave resource pantry, each week is an adventure! You’ll help organize clothing donations, launder items to ensure they’re fresh for those in need, and sort hygiene products. And don't worry, we promise to have some fun while doing it! We also have periodic projects like organizing diaper donations and makeup items that could use your creative touch.
Your help will enable us to focus on growing and creating even more opportunities to uplift our community. Together, we can make a lasting impact and bring new ideas to life while having a great time doing it!
