Greater Spokane County Meals on Wheels

The mission of Greater Spokane County Meals On Wheels is to provide services that enable older people to maintain independent living with safety and dignity. Our primary mission is to provide one hot nourishing meal per day, both in a congregate setting and to our homebound clients.

GSC Meals on Wheels serves the Spokane Community by providing a hot meal, a daily check in, and peace of mind to our clients and their families for those that can’t shop or cook for themselves. GSC Meals on Wheels, who provides meals throughout the county, is looking for volunteers to deliver meals to homebound elderly and disabled persons in your neighborhood.  Volunteers pick up the meals from our kitchen located just a few miles from the Gonzaga campus  It takes approximately 1-1/2 hours to deliver a route of 10 to 15 stops.  Volunteers choose the day of the week and frequency that they would like to deliver.   We are also looking for help in our kitchen week days for simple meal preparations.
