Family Promise of Spokane and mission To Equip Families and Communities to End the Cycle of Homelessness has been serving at risk and currently experiencing homelessness families in our community for over 25 years. We envision a future where no child goes without a bed.

Family Promise of Spokane works to Equip Families and Communities to End the Cycle of Homelessness.

Family Promise helps local communities coordinate their compassion to address the root cause of homelessness. We tap existing local resources to empower families towards economic stability. Families come to us in crisis; we help them rebuild their lives with the skills and ongoing support. 

We address the issue holistically, providing prevention services before families reach crisis, shelter management when they become homeless, and stabilization programs once they have secured housing to ensure they remain independent. 

1. Prevention

Preventing families from becoming homeless through rental assistance and targeted case-management is essential to what we do.

2. Emergency Shelter and Scattered Sites

For those who need emergency shelter, we provide holistic hospitality...everything a homeless family needs to get back on their feet.

3. Stabilization

Helping families we serve not only succeed today but remain stable in their housing financially capability and career paths tomorrow.

We have also added a Landlord Engagement Program. Working with landlords to protect their investments while providing affordable housing to vulnerable families.
