Winter Substitute Drivers Needed City Wide

Greater Spokane County is searching for winter substitute, or permanent meal delivery drivers to deliver meals to our local senior citizens within the city of Spokane and Spokane Valley.  Our kitchen pickup site for the city is just a few blocks away from GU, located at 218 N Crestline St. The meals are delivered during the hours of 11:00am-1:00pm, Monday-Friday throughout the city and valley areas.  Many of our regular drivers are senior citizens themselves, and find it difficult, at times during the winter months to safely deliver meals to our homebound seniors.  We are looking for volunteers to step in and lend a hand when the weather becomes an issue for our regular drivers.  If you have a good winter vehicle, and have an hour or two to spare one or more days a weeks please consider volunteering for this worthy cause.  You can submit your request for more information here, or visit our website to apply https://gscmealsonwheels.org/volunteer/
