Big Brothers Big Sisters is recruiting volunteers to become mentors in our MentorU program. This program pairs adult mentors with freshman at local high schools. All mentors must complete a background check, interview and training prior to becoming matched to a mentee. Commitments are for one full school year and interactions with mentees are mainly virtual/online. Topics covered in this program include life skills, and college and career readiness. Each week, a new topic will be provided and matches (mentors + mentees) share thoughts around the topic in an exchange of online messages.
