Join us once a week on Thursdays in our garden to support the efforts of the youth we work with! We usually work on weeding, watering and many other tasks that come along with running a large garden. We use this garden in our youth agriculture internship and try to make sure it is always a safe environment for youth to learn and grow in. Currently, 0ur garden needs a little extra TLC. We have a massive invasion of bindweed, which is creating a hard time for our crops!
We hope you can join the fun! Snacks, water, tools and sunscreen are made available. We ask volunteers bring tools is they have ones they like to use, a hat, a water bottle and clothes that are conducive to warm weather and can get dirty.
We get silly in the garden while we work to create a safe environment for our youth to learn in. Join us on Thursdays in the garden from 5:30-7pm. If you can only attend a portion, feel free to join! We love any extra hands we can get.
