SNAP Financial Access offers a pair of two-hour small personal finance workshops and the financial counselor often follows up with participants with a series of one-on-one meetings. A volunteer is needed to help organize the paperwork, make phone calls, review files, and other duties as they come up.
This is a volunteer, non-paid position. Volunteers can benefit from this experience by:
- Earning a positive work reference.
- Enhancement of personal or professional interests
- Sharing the experience with other like-minded individuals
- Directing others to get help in their financial goals and responsibilities
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
The Personal Finance Clerical volunteer must be able to perform the following duties:
- Follow through on commitments or make arrangements accordingly
- Treat clients and employees kindly, respectfully and professionally on the phone and in person.
- File alphabetically
- Organize files and other paperwork
- Operate a copy machine
