The mission of Catholic Charities Senior Services & Volunteer Chore Services is to assist low-income seniors and disabled adults to be able to continue to live independently in their own homes or apartments by providing free chore assistance from volunteers.
The program strives to find volunteers to help with chores such as housework, laundry, transportation, yard work, minor home repairs, and moving assistance, etc. Volunteers can choose which chore or chores they wish to help with and how often they want to help. Volunteer Chore Services also welcomes help from groups wanting to do a one-time service project.
Interested individuals must fill out a Volunteer Application on the Catholic Charities website and submit to a background check. The direct link to the application can be found here.
