INCG holds its general membership meetings in the fall and spring. The Fall Meeting consists of a Fall Harvest Potluck, a Seed Swap, an educational talk by a special guest speaker, a Silent Auction fundraiser, a Resource Table Fair, an opportunity for members to renew annual dues or become a new member at the Welcome Table. This fall, we are delighted to hear from special guess speaker and GU Biology Professor Dr. Gary Chang, who will talk about pollinators. The Fall Meeting & Potluck will be held the evening of Friday, October 25th.
INCG is seeking 1 motivated and outgoing volunteer to help advertise the fall meeting, work with pollinator organizations and others to table for the resource fair and donate to the silent auction and get the word out about the talk to their organizations, assist with getting ready for the seed swap, liaise with Dr. Gary Chang, and help the Board of Directors set up for the fall meeting and potluck. The primary INCG contacts are INCG Treasurer Dan Swanson and President Kathleen Callum. The Fall Potluck Advertising & Welcome Assistant will take the lead on helping welcome with Resource Tablers, help set up for the Silent Auction, and then assist INCG Treasurer Dan Swanson at the Welcome Table, taking new dues or renewing memberships, or answering questions.
